something special ...

I love what I do for a living and have many interests and friends outside it that make life a great adventure but it would be nice to share it all with someone I love. Kind of difficult to find in Hong Kong with all the travelling I do. I am not into the bar scene or meeting people in discos. It‘s just not me. I am down to earth and I know what I want, at the same time I try to be humble, learn and evolve as a person. I like to think positive, negativity is just a drain and it gets you nowhere. Life's too short to waste it and a sense of humour is vital. I am not into possessions or objects although I appreciate good quality when I see it. I don't like fakeness, false pretenses and anything that smacks of illusion. Honesty is very sexy and appealing to me. Nothing could be worse than for someone to lie to me. I am spiritual but not religious, I feel a connection with those things that move the human spirit and a connection with the earth and nature. I have eclectic tastes almost in everything because I like to try things out. I like to discuss and interact with intelligent people, socialising with friends, going out, dancing, but am equally happy on my own or hopefully with my partner, doing our own activities. I appreciate style in a person which for me is only so when it is not overbearing and obvious. I am fit and exercise daily and I consider looking after oneself physically and spiritually of great importance but I am neither a fitness fanatic nor aspire to be a guru ... I like outdoor sports, trekking, hiking, cycling, skiing, sailing, horse-riding. I love nature and animals but I believe animals should be in the wild not in cages or apartments. I do yoga because it's a wonderful discipline and has increased my quality of life. I don't smoke and I like vegetarian food but I am not a vegetarian ... well there is so much more to say but do you get the picture? Looking for someone who sees the light and positive side of things, who knows what she wants and who has goals in life. An evolved or evolving soul. Someone with a somewhat cosmopolitan background and similar interest would be nice too but I am not certainly looking for a mirror image! I am pretty open minded but I prefer a westerner like me, as communication is important and the barrier of language is a problem sometime. Someone in their late 20s and 30s intelligent, open minded, possibly fit and slim above all.

Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

Great line, but sadly not mine. Still, now there's a smile on your face, shall we continue... I'm a western professional in my mid-30s, and thoroughly enjoying my job and life. Weekends never seem to last long enough but that's probably because I gallop through them, whether that be having bbq's with friends, keeping fit outdoors, or occasionally enjoying the nightlife until the wee hours. Am not one for just hanging around indoors. Laughter is important, along with not taking yourself too seriously. I've been deliberately single for a while now, but am starting to think I'd like someone to share the good times, and plan the adventures ahead. Only problem is that I have yet to meet anyone who fits the bill, fun, optimistic, ambitious, and switched-on. And cute, it would be silly to pretend looks aren't important, but I'm not ethnically fussy. I don't think you'll be disappointed by my appearance unless it has to be really really ridiculously good looking!
