Fire Fighting equipment

Hi,

Does anybody know where the fire fighting equipment shop on Queens Rd East went? Or alternatively does anyone know where I can purchase smoke alarms, fire blankets, smoke hoods, BCF's etc.

Reclamation st and or Shanghai St in Yaumatei will be the best bet. You will need to go for a walk up these streets as I can't remember which street has what your after. Get off the MTR at Mong Kok and walk down these streets in the direction of Yaumatei.
They are on the western side of Nathan Rd (over a couple of blocks).

You might also want to check out Boatique, 1601 Horizon Plaza Ap Lei Chau tel. 2525-7015 or 2555-9355. They sell extinguishers and fire blankets. Chubb HK Lte. tel. 2746-9628 also sells retail and Safety and Fire Fighting Equipment on D2, G/F 11 Lun Fat St. Wanchai tel. 2866-6895 have the above as well ashoses, alarms and emergency lighting. There is also one in Wanchai, that sells smoke alarms, blankets, extinguishers and masks.

Its on Thomson Road (close to MTR exit A3, and the Wanchai Computer Centre - its the little side street that leads off Johnstone Road). There's a whole bunch of small hardware stores there, if you go to the last one (or close to the last one, you'll see that on one side of the store is hardware and on the other side its almost all fire equipment.

I think this is the one with a pretty big sign so it is hard to miss as long as you are on the correct road.

fire.hk has all the goods.

Smoke hoods- Chinese- $400. Japanese- $900 with 15 minutes of protection.

Blankets $200.

Smoke Alarms $200
