Road worthiness inspection

I need to obtain a road worthiness certificate so that I can renew my vehicle licensing.

Does anyone have any recommendations on auto repair shops that perform this inspection? I suspect some remedial work will also be required in order for it to pass the inspection.

almost all auto shops that i've seen can do it for you... where are you located?

If you have some time you can do it yourself - costs about $400 in cash. You can take the car and if it doesn't pass the first time you can take it back within 14 days and not pay anymore. If you go early in the morning, the wait is about 30 minutes for the inspection.
